Vyce

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy sets out what you may and may not do when using the Vyce platform. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. If you breach it, we may suspend or terminate your access.

Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your login details secure, don't share them, and tell us at hello@vyce.io if you think your account has been compromised.

Each user needs their own login. Sharing a login between people isn't permitted, and it makes the audit trail meaningless, which defeats the point of the platform.

What you must not do

Do not use Vyce to:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else to
  • Upload or store content you don't have the right to use
  • Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or that harasses or discriminates against anyone
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to a person or organisation
  • Interfere with the platform's security, or access data that isn't yours
  • Probe, scan or test our security without written permission. Our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy explains the right way to report an issue.
  • Introduce malware or anything designed to disrupt the platform
  • Scrape or extract our data by automated means, except through interfaces we've documented
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code
  • Resell or sublicense the platform without our written agreement
  • Place unreasonable load on our infrastructure, or get around a usage limit

Personal data you upload

Vyce handles personal data about your workforce. When you upload it, you are the data controller and we are your processor. That means:

  • You must have a lawful basis for collecting and sharing that data
  • You must have told the people concerned how their data will be used
  • You must not upload special category data unless the feature is designed for it and you have an appropriate lawful basis

Our Data Processing Addendum sets out our obligations to you.

Right to Work and identity documents

Some Vyce features involve identity and Right to Work documentation. You remain responsible for your own compliance with immigration and employment law. Vyce gives you the tools and the records. It doesn't make the legal determination for you, and using Vyce isn't a defence in itself.

If you breach this policy

We may suspend or restrict your access, remove content, or terminate your account. Where the breach is serious, or where we're required to, we may report it to the relevant authority.

Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Reporting misuse

If you think someone is misusing Vyce, email hello@vyce.io.
